Designed for Independent Travelers
- These short duration packages are designed for individuals who prefer to
travel independently without the structure of a group tour.
- Independent Vacation modules are unescorted but all travel arrangements are
pre-booked for your convenience and ease of travel (especially important
during
the peak summer season).
- All coaches feature large panoramic windows, air-conditioning, a washroom
and comfortable seating. In some cases, in particular the West Coast of the
South Island, and between Christchurch and Dunedin, regular scheduled coach or
train service may be used. In these rare instances, commentary may not be
provided.
- As independence and flexibility are the major advantages of Independent
Vacations, note that you will travel with different drivers and passengers of a
variety of nationalities each day.
Self Drive Option
- Independent Vacation modules can also be booked with any size rental car for
complete independence. Hotels are pre-booked for you based on your selection.
