From Ranthambore continue to the tranquil town of Pushkar. Located on the bank of Pushkar Lake, Pushkar is famous for its Camel Fair. An important Hindu pilgrimage, Pushkar features a temple dedicated to Lord Brahma.
Depart Pushkar and travel to the historical city of Jodhpur, with its traditional lifestyle and friendly locals. Beautiful palaces, forts, and temples await you in Jodhpur.
Following Jodhpur, head to Udaipur, one of the most stunning Indian cities. Udaipur features one of the largest palace complexes in the world, City Palace. This dramatic structure provides magnificent views of Udaipur.

  • In Old Delhi Visit the Red Fort built by Emperor Shah Jahan, Jama Masjid one of the largest mosques in India, Raj Ghat - the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi and enjoy a walking tour in Chandni Chowk - the silver street of Delhi bustling with activity.
  • In the afternoon visit Qutab Minar - the tallest stone tower in India, Humayun's Tomb built in the Indo Persian style and a predecessor to the Taj Mahal in Agra, The India Gate - A War memorial arch. You'll also drive past the President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretatiat buildings and Connaught Place - the heart of New Delhi and a busy shopping center.

    Day 4: Delhi - Agra

  • After breakfast drive via air-conditioned car to Agra which is a very interesting 3 hour drive passing through beautiful countryside and villages.
  • During your tour visit the red sandstone Agra Fort, which stands like a crescent on the banks of the Jamuna River and is enclosed by forbidding 20 meter high walls with a 12 meter moat between them.

  • Afternoon visit the famous Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jehan as a tribute to his favorite wife Mumtaz Mahal, this is the ultimate tribute to love ever transcribed in architecture. This great monument, completed in 1653, took almost 22years and 20,000 workers to build.

    Day 5: Agra - Ranthambore

  • After breakfast drice to Ranthambore National park visiting the ancient Moghul capital of Fatehpur Sikri.This 16th century capital of Moghul emperor Akbar is a complex of forts, palaces and mosques built in sandstone. The city had to be deserted after just 15 years of occupancy due to lack of water. Te white marble Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti, Akbar's spiritual advisor is now observed as a Muslim pilgrimage spot here.
  • Continue your journey to Ranthambore National Park and upon arrival check into your hotel
  • The park is quite famous for a good population of Tigers, which can be encountered in broad daylight, quite unperturbed by the human presence.
  • Following dinner there will be a slide show and an orientation talk about the park and its wildlife by the lodge staff.

    Day 6: Ranthambore

  • Early morning a Jeep safari into the park - one of the finest tiger reserves in the country. Spread over an area of 392 sq. km, the park is characterized by dry deciduous forests sprawling over the Aravalli and Vindhyan ranges. If you are fortunate enough you can also see the tigers strolling in the jungle of near any of the three lakes namely, the Padam Talab, Raj Bagh Talab and Milak Talab. The park also houses some of the rare species of desert creatures like the sambhar, chital, nilgai, chinkara, languy, wild boar and peafowl. You will have another opportunity in the afternoon for tiger spotting during your second safari of the day.

    Day 7: Ranthambore - Jaipur

  • This morning you travel about 3 Hours to Rajasthan and the famous city of Jaipur. Jaipur is knows as the "Pink City" due to its buildings of pink and orange hues and it's a wonderful place to see the color of Rajasthan and its people. Jaipur is also well known for its beautiful carpets, enameled ornaments, precious and semi-precious stones, brass ornaments and many other arts and crafts.
  • In the afternoon visit the Observatory, the Palace of Winds and the City Palace and Museum. The museum has an interesting textile section, which contains dresses and costumes of the former Maharajas and Maharanis of Jaipur.

    Day 8: Jaipur

  • This morning you will drive just outside the city to visit the Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the state until 1728. Visit the Temple of Kali, The hall of victory or Jai Mahal and Jagmandir. You can have the unique experience of traveling on elephant back to and from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated.
  • Rest of the day is free to explore the colorful town independently, spend time in the markets of the Pink City haggling and souvenir shopping

    Day 9: Jaipur - Pushkar

  • Drive via air-conditioned car to Pushkar the holiest and most ancient of Hindu pilgrim centers. The beautiful lake in Pushkar is surrounded by 52 bathing ghats (steps). Pushkar has the only Brahma (creator of the universe) temple in India. The town is a maze of temples and hermitages, and is filled with ascetics and devotees. Visit the lake which has a mythological significance associated with it. According to myth, Lord Brahma was on his way to search for a suitable place to perform a "Yanga" (a fire sacrifice) while contemplating, a lotus fell from his hand on the earth and water sprouted from that place. Pushkar lake is surrounded by many palaces which were built by former rulers of different states of India and one of the Palace among those is "Kishangarh Kunj" built by Maharaja of Jaisalmer about 400 years ago and later on presented to Maharaja of Kishangarh.
  • In the evening, proceed to witness the Aarti (worship) and chanting ceremony at the Brahma temple.

    Day 10: Pushkar - Jodhpur

  • Drive via air-conditioned car to Jodhpur an oasis in the arid Thar Desert, Jodhpur is the second largest city in the state of Rajasthan. Representing this colorful city with shades of blue, Jodhpur has a history that is rich and a present that beckons strongly to the discerning tourist. Forts and palaces, temples and havelis, culture and tradition, spices and fabrics, color and texture, Jodhpur has them all and in plenty. Situated in western Rajasthan, Jodhpur has long attracted both the domestic and international tourists. It not only offers tangibles in terms of what you can see and buy but also fills one with a sense of history and the splendors of an era bone forever. The hospitality of the locals, the demure women, the colorful turbans all set against the unmerciful desert is something to feel, not just see. Every pore of Jodhpur tells its own heroic tales that made legends out of kings and soldiers, romances that continue to warm the heart and a time when epics were lived out on the streets by everyday man.
  • In the afternoon visit the Mehrangarh Fort considered one of India's best forts, this invincible stronghold of the Marwars sits on a steep hill lording over a wonderful view of its surroundings. It is also a beautiful fort and undoubtedly the jewel of Jodhpur. Intricate latticed windows, elaborately carved panels and elegantly curved porches speak of beauty and taste. No matter what part of the fort you are in, its ambience will leave you in awe and your senses reeling. Take in the sight high up on the rampart where the second largest cannon in Asia rests, the recoil of which requires an area as large as a football field!

    Day 11: Jodhpur - Udaipur

  • This morning we'll drive through valleys in the remote and peaceful Aravalli Range to Rangakpur to visit one of the most important Jain temples in India. This marble complex is noted for the 29 halls supported by 1,444 pillars, each adorned with hundreds of carved figures, no two alike. Continue your drive to Udaipur, described as the "City of Sunrise".

  • Udaipur is also a center of historic arts and crafts of Mewar, like the Mewar school of Miniature Paining. There is of course the modern face of Udaipur, that one can look at if interested, but given the other sights from a glorious past, modernity is no real distraction. This is a place that will hold you in its thrall no matter who you are or where you come from.
  • During a guided tour you will visit the City Palace built in 1725, the grand City Palace is actually a conglomerate of eleven palaces overlooking the sprawling Lake Pichola. One of the largest, most beautiful palaces in the state of Rajasthan, it is now a museum, royal residence and a luxury hotel. This intricately designed monument is an architectural wonder in granite and marble. Jagdish Temple built in 1651 by Maharaja Jagat Singh, this temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is located in the center of the old city.
