Then follow the road over the misty mountains of Kunming, and enter Vietnam, where we take a cruise on breathtakingly beautiful Halong Bay, explore the imperial ruins of Hue, soak up the sun on the beaches of Nha Trang and delight in street food in Saigon. Crossing in Cambodia, experience Khmer culture at a friendly village homestay before checking out the pristine beaches of Sihanoukville and delving into the country's turbulent history in its capital, Phnom Penh. The extravagant ruins of Angkor are a fitting finale to our fantastic stay in Cambodia, and then finally, we make our way to the big, brash yet charming capital of Thailand for a fabulous farewell feast.

Days 2-5Guiyang/KailiExperience the colourful customs and culture of the Miao minority. Hike into the countryside, passing waterfalls and rice paddies along the way. Stay in simple guesthouses, explore village markets and get to chat with friendly locals along the way.
Days 6-7KunmingSee the amazing Stone Forest, savour local fruit wine or simply relax in Kunming.
Days 8-10SapaTrek to a traditional village homestay, passing magnificent mountain scenery along the way.
Days 11-12HanoiSpend time strolling the tree-lined avenues of Vietnam's capital, a quintessentially Asian city with a decidedly European air. Head to the Old Quarter or relax by one of the city's many lakes.
