Enjoy stunning views of the nearby Losiolo Escarpment, an enormous natural amphitheatre which drops sharply down into a valley. | | Day 4 | South Horr | Descend 2,500 m into the sizzling sands of the Suguta Valley, one of the hottest places on earth. The oasis village of South Horr, a remarkable patch of green amid the forbidding desert, offers shade and shelter for the night. | | Days 5-7 | Loyangalani | Even the most weathered traveller will be awed by the sight of Lake Turkana, a sea of jade lying in the middle of a parched landscape.
